My Academic & Research Journey
As an Associate Professor in the CSE (IoT) Department at IEM, Kolkata, India, my role is deeply rooted in both cutting-edge research and the crucial mission of nurturing the next generation of technology innovators. I'm passionate about exploring and solving complex challenges within computer systems, and equally dedicated to fostering an environment where students can thrive and develop their full potential.
My core academic and research interests span Computer Networks, Distributed Systems, and Advanced Algorithms. These foundational areas form the basis of my investigations into topics like optimizing resource utilization, enhancing system reliability, and pioneering solutions for the ever-evolving landscape of computing. It's a dynamic field, and I'm committed to contributing meaningfully to its ongoing advancements.
Beyond my dedicated academic and research pursuits, I maintain a vital balance through various activities. These include documenting observations through photography, engaging in outdoor exploration, pursuing swimming for mental clarity, and delving into complex logical puzzles. Such engagements provide a refreshed perspective and foster enhanced creativity, directly benefiting my analytical and problem-solving approaches within my professional domain. This philosophy of holistic engagement is well-articulated by a guiding principle from my father: "Hope for the best, prepare for the worst." This enduring wisdom underpins both my strategic foresight in research and my broader approach to life's challenges.
